We're flying the ever-lovely Spirit Airlines, which means no luggage. I'm too cheap. So here's my  expert mode packing: BOOM BABY!!! Bonus is, we both look pregnant. Hello, priority boarding! 😎

We got our jackets on and we're ready to go! The anticipation is killing me! We're eating now and almost on the road. Taking some photos to document this important moment in the life of the 2 MargaritaVillains!

Packing

Image
Soooo, we just packed. You're not in-the-know so I'll let you in on the secret. This trip is more of a challenge than a vacation. My mom and I want to go the whole trip with no luggage. I mean no suitcase no backpack and no purse. Second, we want to try as many modes of transportation as possible. Lastly, as I have already mentioned, the whole trip is gonna be under $700 dollars. That means drinks, food, souvenirs, travel, everything . So much fun!! This is our couch at the beginning of the packing process  A mess right? Then this is after packing The clothes laid out are the " day of the journey" attire. We plan to travel in a style all our own. I'm so ready for this... Maybe

Less then 24!

We are officially less than 24 hours away from leaving! I am ecstatic! We are doing the final touches on our shirts (you'll understand later) and plan on quasi-packing tonight sometime. Aaaaaaand guess what!  I dyed my hair red for the occasion!!! If you don't know me and don't know what I normally look like here's a picture  Gorgeous right?

And so it begins...

Zoey here (daughter, 28F). My mom (54F) and I are making our last arrangements for the trip. We leave on Monday. Not packing, oh no. That's something we'll leave for Sunday night, possibly Monday morning. Now we're picking out our travel day snacks (all included in the $700 budget) we have $10 per meal per person for two meals on Monday (travel day) and one on February 2nd (travel on the way back day). I'm having fun just thinking about the absurdity of our current undertaking, and I can't wait to see what problems we come across. Travel is boring if something doesn't go wrong. Troubles give excursions character and in my experience the stories best for retelling are the ones that come from potential hardships that were laughed at and in one way or another overcome. I can hardly wait to start out, and I'm super excited to share it here. Hold on everybody, this is gonna be wild.
